Dallas, TX – McFarlin Stanford, a trusted partner for landscape business owners across North America, announces the appointment of Scott Wallingford as Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment comes as the company expands to meet increasing demand for its services. This growth reflects the evolving needs of landscape business owners who are building companies that support their teams, serve their clients well, strengthen their communities, and create lasting legacies for their families.
"We started McFarlin Stanford because we lived the challenges owners in the green industry face every day," said founding principals James Cali and Jason New. "We've been fortunate to serve more than 600 companies, and we've learned as much from them as they have from us. As demand for our services has grown, we reached a point where we needed additional leadership focused on operations and strategy. Scott brings the expertise to help us scale while we stay focused on what we do best -- coaching and serving clients."
Scott Wallingford brings 25 years of leadership experience building and scaling businesses across consulting, technology, and software industries. Most recently President of software company Onit, his background includes leading teams at LexisNexis, AT&T, Sabre and Booz & Company, with a consistent focus on helping businesses grow by solving their most important problems.
As CEO, Scott will oversee operations and the delivery of McFarlin Stanford's expanding suite of services, which includes executive coaching, ACE Peer Groups, outsourced accounting, recruiting, human resources, valuations, and leadership development.
“I've spent my career helping businesses scale through client-focused execution and disciplined operations," said Wallingford. "What drew me to McFarlin Stanford is the combination of a growing market, a company with deep client relationships and proven client results, and founders who are deeply committed to growth. My role is to build the infrastructure, strategy, and team capabilities. That means investing in our people, streamlining operations, thoughtfully integrating AI to enhance the insights we deliver to clients, and focusing our resources on high-impact priorities that drive results. As landscape businesses navigate emerging technologies, we're positioned to help them understand where AI creates real value -- and where the human expertise of leadership remains irreplaceable. I'm here to help scale what Jim, Jason, and the team have built so we can make an even bigger impact."
With Scott's strategic and operational leadership combined with McFarlin Stanford's deep industry expertise, the company is positioned to expand its impact across the landscape industry.
